During our London Fashion Week last September, we did receive an invite for the show of David Koma. But we didn’t go, because we’re probably busy with shopping, eating or surviving a hangover (well, Digitalista K. and M. Did!)
after some great kind of fashion party . But now we regret it, because David Koma became the BFF of many celebs.
Stars like Beyoncé and Cheryl Cole both wore an outfit of David. Bé did that the other night during the MTV Europe Music Awards and Cheryl wore a beautiful dress of this season during her performance in X Factor last week. “Cheryl is an amazing, beautiful, super sexy woman – I really like her and I was very flattered when I saw her in my dress,” David said to Vogue.co.uk.
A really great thing for the Central Saint Martins graduate, Harrods Design Award winner and Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award winner. David called himself ‘a happy man’. “I have been working with Beyoncé and her team to create a unique dress and knew there was a possibility she may wear it, but when I saw her last night she looked absolutely incredible.” David xplained to Vogue.co.uk. “Beyoncé represents the ideal woman that inspires me, I’m delighted that she wore my dress to collect her award and feel privileged and incredibly proud that a worldwide superstar has shown such support.”
With Cheryl and Beyoncé on board it can only get more crowded. Who will follow….
