It’s day three of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Today on the schedule are the fashion shows of Collectie Arnhem, Claes Iversen and Supertrash. And ofcourse we’re also present.

Feminine silhouettes seem to be key this Fashionweek. Another brand that embraced the female body was Individuals. The brand that is managed by AMFI students has really evolved over the years, and each season it’s a surprise to see what they come up with. Check the full report here.
Strong, powerful, feminine and futuristic fashion. Elsien Gringhuis knows what the modern woman likes. We never saw a collection of hers before (because we didn’t visit the opening soiree last year), but we’re kind of a fan right know! Check our report here!
Nicholas Kirkwood took his signature platform and gave it a ‘floral’ make over for the occasion of Liberty’s 50th anniversary. And we want to have it!
From model to designer. Kate Moss‘ bags for Longchamp were presented yesterday evening at the Ritz. A good way to get noticed while couture week is full-on in Paris at the moment. The bags, that vary from party clutches to shoppers and travelbags come in red and black leather as well as zebra prints, and might just match a new couture outfit.
Yesterday was the big launch of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week with Jan Taminiau and MATTIJS. And we had lots of fun. Today, it’s day two of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week with the fashion shows of Elsien Gringhuis, Individuals, Mada van Gaans and Camilla Norrback.
It’s always good to have some insiders that keep their ears open for us during AIFW, because we can tell you that Stylist Patti Wilson (freelance for Vogue, ID, Numero, V magazine…) is very interested in some of Jan Taminiau’s items. She works closely with Steven Meisel and reserved 10 (!) items from Jan Taminiau for a shoot with Meisel!
