We all know the beautiful covershoots and editorials photographers like Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchellier and Nick Knight shot for Vogue. But Salvadore Dali, René Gruau and David Hockney illustrated Vogue way before Mario’s, Nick’s and Patrick’s time. The result can be found in the book Fashion Drawing in Vogue.

Digitalista E. has something with Christmas. It’s her most wonderful time of the year. You can even call her a X-mas nerd. Even as a little girl she was fascinated by X-mas trees, the lovely lightnings and all the cute X-mas dolls hanging in the trees.
As you all know she and her Mr. Big bought their own fabulous house last Summer (yes, with a Carrie Closet too). A bigger one with an even bigger living room. So their X-mas tree had to be bigger than last year’s (in fact he has to be huge). So they bought a huge 2.30 meter long tree that Digi E decorated with lots of cute Christmas dolls. The only rule was: no balls! Check out the result in here.
It has been posted on Vogue Paris’ FB page: Editor in Chief, Carine Roitfeld is leaving the magazine! After ten years of making the French Issue of Vogue one of the must-have iconic stylebibles, Roitfeld has decided to focus on personal projects that are dear to her. Who will follow…

Lily Donaldson and her furry friend shot a cover shoot for Harper’s Bazaar this month. And it’s looking pretty good and very Nel-a-licious!
‘I don’t understand when a photographer asks to do a close-up shot. Who wants to look at my face? It’s about the fashion!’ Anna Della Russo’s talking about the fact that she rarely wears make-up and isn’t afraid of showing that. Well, she’s damn right: it’s all about fashion.
One woman’s bad bargain is another woman’s best buy. That’s what website I Love Fashion Vintage thought when they came up with their online market place. And since today Digitalista E’s outfits are amongst those vintage treasures!
Golden Caravan (travelling designer-brand discount shopping) was in town. And Digi K got seduced. By a pair of Martin Margiela ankle-boots. Though her friend said: “Are you sure you want to buy yourself another pair of black ankle boots?” K thought a girl can never have enough ankle boots and went on with her purchase.
Here it is: Dior’s final movie from the Lady Dior series, Lady Grey London. It was directed by John Cameron Mitchell. And…a special appearance by Sir Ian McKellen!
Actually the word ‘magazine’ does not quite cover what this is. It’s more like a book counting 354 pages of pure fashion. The theme of this issue is ‘Denim’.
And don’t we all love denim?
