Inviting us for a lovely cozy dinner surrounded by the crème de la crème of the Dutch blogger scene: well, we don’t say no to that. While Digi K is enjoying a shopping trip to Stockholm, Digi E. went for a night out to do something she’s really good at: eating!
Fashion people DO eat as we keep on telling you that. Bloggers Jamie (Jamiesblog.nl), Linda and Niels (LifestyleHunters.com), Anna (ILoveFashionNews.com), Liza Chloé (LizaChloe.blogspot.com), Sabrina (afterDRK.com), Tess (Fashion.Blog.nl), Leroy (Commedesleroi.com) and Digi E took a visit to the restaurant of Canal House, Amsterdam finest hotel which opened last April.
About Canal House
Located in the middle of the Jordaan (really nice neighbourhood in the centre of Amsterdam) you can find Canal House at number 148 – 152. Previously owned by a few merchants in the 17th, 18,th and 19th century and turned into a hotel in 1950 by an eccentric American and his love for Dutch art. It opened last April with an amazing result: authenticity versus modernity. Nice to know: a previous owner put his mistress in one of the houses (in the middle of the two others), and she still refuses to go. That’s why Canal House is now famous for its horse-shoe shape….
And now the best part…
At the menu: gazpacho, steak tartar, oyster, avacado pie, veal, crab, some green beans and an amazing dessert full with fresh fruit, chocolate mousse and a lovely thick making (hello extra calories!) white chocolate panna cotta. Mouth watering…
