Catch of the Day: Wool coat from IRO

Since we haven’t had a real summer in Holland, you would imagine that we’re already thinking of our Fall wardrobe. That’s partially true. We are still eager to wear our bikini’s and denim shorts. But most shops have the Fall/Winter collections on display, so we can’t ignore that. To make a compromise we start looking for mid-season items, like this wool coat from IRO.

Digitalicious: ‘Moules et frites’ made with love

So we decided to make more posts about food. I don’t think we need to remind you, but we LOVE to eat. And we start to become quite good cooks ourselves while practicing. Who knows, we might become the new Nigella Lawson’s!

We both have our specialties; Digi E is all about the Asian cuisine, and Digi K has French roots, but is into ‘global cooking’. Let’s start with something from our neighbours, Belgium. It’s mussel-season so we crave for ‘Moules et frites’.

September Royalty

A surprising covermodel on French Vogue‘s September Issue; Charlotte Casiraghi. The eldest daughter of Caroline von Hannover (better known as Caroline of Monaco), is maybe the prettiest princess of our times. Ofcourse she had Grace Kelly as a grandmother, so there’s a good genetical beauty-package there.

Lovely Charlotte was photographed by Mario Testino, and we think she’s the spitting image of her mother at the same age. Check her mom’s Vogue cover (yes she had one too) after the jump>>>

Gaypride Amsterdam ’11: pink, Pringles and rainshowers

Over a week ago it was gaypride in Amsterdam. Like every year the city turns pink. With festivities all around town and the famous boat parade, we had to take a look. Though the weather didn’t promise much good that day…We would have taken more pictures, but rainshowers starting in the afternoon and going on til late at night (people even offered us money for our umbrella…) unfortunately kept us from doing so. We’ll need to take a raincheck for that. (what’s in a name).
