United Nude introduces a new pair of heels, in collaboration with Iris van Herpen. These heels have a name to match their appareance inspired on sharp animal tooth; ‘the Fang’.
Iris showed the shoes during the Paris Couture week, alongside her new couture collection ‘Micro’, inspired by micro-organisms. Again she has used unsual materials, 3D prints and laser technique.
‘The Fang’ is the 5th shoe-design van Herpen designed in collaboration with United Nude, and the most distinct specimen until now. The ‘scary’ tooth-shaped sole and heel are made of a complex combination of glass and carbon fibers. Looks like Lady Gaga might want to wear them…
