As a real Amsterdam South inhabitant Digi E. had the honor to get a sneak peek of the Stedelijk Museum 2.0, Amsterdam’s well known museum for contemporary art.

The renovation took over more than nine years. And still it isn’t finished yet. The official opening is set on September 23rd but some local residents had the chance to visit the museum earlier. Without the art, but with focus on the amazing architecture by Benthem Crouwel Architekten. Eyecatcher (or not: the opinions are different): the enormous ‘bathtub’ in front of the museum which settles a huge exposition space with the offices for the staff above. Underneath the Museumplein you’ll find the biggest exposition room of the museum (1100m2).
