Lana del Rey for H&M might have been the most newsworthy (images not yet available), but it’s also interesting to see what other fashion brands have chosen as their muse for the new season.
We made our little top 5. Here are Lana’s runner-up’s.
2.British meets Parisienne with Alexa Chung for Maje
The British model and It-girl featured as the face of several brands such as Vero Moda, Pepe Jeans and Superga, but this is the first French brand she’ll be working for. The campaign shot by Glen Luchford has a 60′s vibe which suits Miss Chung very well.
3.The ‘unknown’ at Lanvin
Alber Elbaz opted for a streetcasting to select ‘real’ people for his Fall/Winter ’12-’13 campaign. The result goes from 18 to 80 years old, even including a cute dog.
4.Naomi Campbell for Pinko
Not ready to retire yet, and she doesn’t have to. Naomi Campbell shows off her model skills like only an ex-topmodel can for Italian label Pinko.
5.Chloë Sevigny transforms into a redhead for Miu Miu
We almost didn’t recognize her with this new look, though it works very well to impersonize the Miu Miu edge. The campaign was shot by photographers duo Mert Alas & Marcus Pigott. This wasn’t Chloé’s first collab with Miu Miu, they have worked together earlier in 1995.
