Coming Spring-Summer we look towards the East for inspiration. The oriëntal vibe is fully visible, from high end to high street.
Exotic florals, Mao collars, wrapped silhouettes, chiffon and silky fabrics were prominent on the catwalks at Etro, Pucci, Hermès, Thakoon and Philip Lim. For this trend tag we’ve gathered items to create two looks with a basic wrapped chiffon top from Mango.
In the first look we have a silk printed short from Helmut Lang and the oh so coveted silk souvenir jacket from Philip Lim. Wear this with floral printed slippers from Opening Ceremony, and a perspex tortoise effect hard clutch from Reiss.
The second variation on the wrapped top is a tad more feminine. Starting with the quilted bomber from H&M. We’ve found the cute sarong style skirt at Mango. The cut-out heel wedge sandals are from Aldo, and to complete the look, the bucket bag from Miu Miu is the perfect match. The round sunnies with metal bridge from Asos can go with both outfits.
