As Dutchies we’re used to ride bikes. Which also means we have some requirements when it comes to our daily transportation. Especially in the city.
‘Made in Holland’ bicycle brand Batavus came up with a utility bike; the BUB XL. The frame is designed from the shape of a paperclip, and the bike is as effective, simple and recognizable.
The BUB (Batavus Utility Bike) is a real urban bicycle, as it is lightweight and available in trendy colour combinations.
We have tested the BUB today during a City Photo Rally. The challenge was to reach several Amsterdam highlights (the Rijksmuseum, the Johnny Jordaan monument, the Central Station bike storage, the Dam palace, the Magere Brug, and the finish at cafe de IJsbreker) as quickly as possible, and make an original picture containing the bikes and the specific location, made us really fanatic! Luckily, our efforts paid off and we won the Rally!
