Need a gift tip for Father’s Day on June 16? Dior has launched the latest edition of the Dior Homme Cologne – it’s simple but modern and sophisticated.
The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, grapefruit blossom and white musks. Citrus notes keep it light and fresh, though not overly feminine; the musky scents offer a more sensual, masculine element.
It’s said that in developing the cologne, Dior’s perfumier Francois Demachy was inspired by the purity of a clean white cotton shirt and the sexy linger of a “just showered” freshness.
My boyfriend wears the scent and – despite my bias – I must say it’s quite dreamy. After a shower, a spritz of the cologne adds just the right mix of soft fragrance and that “clean” smell, which lasts him the whole day through.
As if that’s not enticing enough, Jude Law is the face of the campaign (photographed by Peter Lindbergh). Need we say more?
