Did you know that 258 million people around the world are blind or visually impaired? Yesterday was World Sight Day, and we were wearing our shades all day to show we care. An initiative supported by TOM’s.
You must have heard about TOM’s before (if you didn’t find out more here). It all started with shoes, based on the One for One® concept; you purchase an article and at the same time you help a person in need.
TOM’s continued to expand the ‘One for One®’ concept. Aside from giving shoes to people who need them, the socially involved company also helps to save or restore people’s sight in 13 countries, so a range of shades was added to the TOM’s collection and they’re quite awesome!
Now all you need to do is buy a pair, because creating a buzz and solidarity for TOM’s activities doesn’t stop at World Sight Day.
