Let’s discuss damaged hair – I know, because I’m an expert on the subject. I’ve been highlighting my hair platinum blonde since I was 16, and I won’t mention the amount of heat I subject it to for styling.
Aveda’s Dry Remedy line of products is specially-designed for very dry, processed and damaged hair. Not only do they smell as delicious as an Aveda salon – think lavender, ginger lily and bergamot – but they also work to rehydrate your locks.
The line consists of a shampoo, conditioner, masque and daily moisturizing oil (which I’ve sampled myself). While I was worried it would leave my hair looking ultra-greasy, it actually absorbed wonderfully and left my hair feeling super soft.
The formula is 99.9% naturally-derived and is silicone free, so a few drops is all it takes to your whole head (and less if you have short hair). You can expect the scent to linger a bit, but as it’s quite natural, I didn’t mind!
