We’ve all had it happen: an unexpected party, meeting or (gasp!) date pops up … and of course that was the morning when you didn’t have time to wash your hair. What to do? Blow-dry bar to the rescue.
Blow-dry bars are the BEST new concept popping up in New York, San Francisco and London – and now Amsterdam has one of its very own.
Salon B’s Gravenstraat (Amsterdam Centre) location has an oh-so-funky blow-dry bar where you can pop in for a 30-minute revamp of your hair. Choose from a variety of styles: a classic blow-out, super straight, smooth waves, the Bardot, quiff with a twist, the faux bob, or perfect ponytail.
A treatment costs €30 for a blow-dry and styling, or you can add a wash for another €5. You hair will be prepped with a mousse and dry shampoo (if necessary), before styling is done.
Half and hour later and voila … you will emerge a new woman!
