This small coffee place is our new hangout for the Sunday morning. Meet Berry Amsterdam.
It feels like a living room and that’s exactly the aim of owner Tiemen who shares the location with Strawberry Earth – a creative company which offers durable and green concepts, products and services – and the fair fashion label/agency Charlie + Mary.
Since it’s on one of our bicycle routes we’ve passed Berry several times and thought it would be nice to have coffee with a dear friend there. The good thing about settling here in the weekend is that the doors that divide the coffee place from the Strawberry Earth office are open, which makes the venue double in volume.
Besides being a cosy place on the corner of the Bilderdijkkade in Amsterdam (with the new to open ‘Hallen’ across the street), super friendly Tiemen makes a killer brownie and banana bread! You should definitely try one of these when you grab a breakfast, coffee, tea or juice.
