O2M Breathable Nail Polish

OM2_1Do your nails turn an icky yellow color after wearing nail polish? To solve this common problem, Polish brand Inglot has launched O2M, a “breathable” nail enamel that allows air and water to penetrate to your nail.

Regular nail polishes keep oxygen and moisture from reaching your fingernails, which results in discoloration. But Inglot’s latest discovery uses a polymer found in contact lenses, which allows the polish to be permeable.

I started with the Breathable Base, followed by one coat of #659 (a gorgeous coral hue), and finished with a Breathable Top Coat. The color went on smooth and easy, and – best of all – one coat was enough!

The formula is also made without toluene, formaldehyde, camphor and dibutyl phthalate (or in English, chemicals commonly used in nail varnish).

There has also been a lot of praise for the polish in the Muslim community; because the polish is permeable by water, it complies with Islamic law and can be worn during prayer.
