Good news from the travel department for us Dutchies: easyJet is setting base in Amsterdam. At our national airport Schiphol to be exact. And this means 6 new destinations will be added.
The airline company will also improve 7 of the existing itineraries in order to service and attract more frequent flyers and business travelers, and as a run-up to the opening of the Dutch easyJet base to officially open in Spring 2015. In total easyJet offers 25 destinations from Amsterdam.
As of now, 600.000 extra passengers are able to (early)book their tickets for the Summer holidays next year against the lowest rates.
Schiphol will house three easyJet Airbus A320 aircrafts to increase the capacities now being served by the A319. The first two aircrafts will arrive in March, the third in May 2015.
The 6 new destinations and flight frequency are:
1. Dubrovnik – 2x a week
2. Nice -7x a week
3. Olbia (Sardinia) -2x a week
4. Toulouse 3x a week
5. Venice -7x a week
6. Hamburg -6x a week
