He’s just fresh off the Chanel N°5 commercial, but those interested in seeing more of the Dutch actor Michiel Huisman, brace yourselves. He features in The Age of Adaline alongside Blake Lively, of which the official trailer has just been released.
The storyline shows some similarities to the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, as a happening effects the age of the main character. In this case, it is Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) who survives a near-fatal accident at the turn of the 20th century which renders her ageless – she perpetually stays 29. Years after years she watches her friends and family grow older and eventually pass away while she lives a solitary life, afraid to fall in love again. Then comes in Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman) who might be the only one to win her heart and break her immortal curse.
It reads a bit like a fairy tale, and watching the trailer hints a romantic epic movie. Watch it below:
We’ll have to wait until Spring 2015 when The Age of Adaline hits the movie theaters.
