About a little more than a month ago, &Foam conceptstore opened. This dependance belonging to the Foam Photography museum, is a nice inspirational pit-stop after you have visited the museum. Check out our photoreport below.
Initially they started with a pizza & prosecco concept on the Haarlemmerdijk, but de Pizzabakkers (translated: the pizza bakers), also own a Paninoteca in the Plantage neighbourhood in Amsterdam (near the Artis zoo). Besides the delicious pizza, they also offer the possibility to have a good and tasty lunch.
We start out with Dieter de Cock. The originally Belgian Head Designer of menswear label Cold Method,lives on the ground floor of a cute appartment in the center of Amsterdam. He has an extended view from Central Station to Nemo’s Scientific Museum, thanks to his big windows. Even tourists that walk by take a peek at his minimalistic, yet cosy interior.
Cold Method: The Gentleman Activist A/W 2012-2013
Gentlemen can also be a bit rebellious, without losing charm and good manners. Sturdy and unpolished vs dandy-ish and groomed; the Cold Method man for A/W 2012-2013 was inspired by the revolutions of ’68 -the turning point towards a more progressive society- and especially the black & white pictures from that time.

It was store-opening week this week. It started with a brand new Levi’s® flagshipstore in the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening.
