Karl Lagerfeld showed Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Pre Fall 2011/2012 collection – inspired by India’s people - last Tuesday in the Grand Palais, Paris. As Karl himself said during an interview with Wall Street Journal: ““Even the poor have dignity, and even poor women own three gold bracelets.” On the runway: lots of jewels, bold colors and precious fabrics surrounded by tables full of fresh food, macaroons and other delicious knickknacks. Wish we could take a bite!

Ah, it’s so nice of Karl Lagerfeld to make an affordable collection from time to time. His collaboration for Macy’s is soon to hit the stores. But first we have this backstage video for you!
Swedish photographer couple Ingela Klemetz-Farago and Peter Farago shot a variety of Scandinavian and Baltic beauties Northern Women in Chanel. Think of Freja Beha Erichsen, Carmen Kass and Helena Christensen.

Dear Karl,
We are a bit dissapointed that you did not invite us to your Diet Coke launch party. Well, no. A ‘bit’ is an understatement. We are VERY dissapointed. (FYI: it’s the three of us that should have been sitting on that chair promoting your favorite drink instead of Coco Rocha, Jeneil Williams and Heidi Mount). So now you’ll have to send us trays of free Diet Coke to make it up with us. We’ll show you how stylish it looks in our fridge. And then you’ll have no choice but to invite us to every show, party, launch, presentation etc. that are yet to come.
Best,
The Digitalistas
How much we love the new campaign with Blake Lively for Chanel? A lot! Not that we’re jealous at all about the pretty Gossip Girl star. We’ve found a backstage video about this amazing shoot. Check it out in here.

Karl Lagerfeld launched together with Italian shoe tycon Diego Della Valle – fashion land calls them the Dynamic Duo – their latest collaboration for Hogan. Next to that amazing fashion line (think futuristic outerwear with hand-finished details) Karl exposed a series of black and white portraits of 13 celebs like Lou Doillon, Elisa Sednaoui, Leigh Lezark and our number one favorite male model – and singer.. – Baptiste Giabiconi.

Blake Lively about her new job as the face of the Chanel Mademoiselle bags (no, we’re not jealous at all).
