At the Oxford Street flagshipstore, Mango presented Kate Moss as the new face of the Mango Spring/Summer 2012 campaign.
In an exclusive interview Kate Moss talk about the great time she has had being part of Mango and working with Terry Richardson “I’m really excited to be working with Mango for S/S 2012, we had a great time shooting the campaign, the team are so easy to work with and shooting with Terry is always fun.” Check the interview below!
Maybe I (Digi K) should make a career change into a fashion psychic. It was over two years ago that I made a Ziggy Stardust inspired shopping, and only this month Kate Moss shines as David Bowie’s early 70′s alter ego Ziggy Stardust. Nevertheless, only Kate can personificate Ziggy like a pro, and I’m secretly proud that my forecasting talent has made it onto the cover of the French Vogue.
Saskia de Brauw by Mario Sorrenti for the 2012 Pirelli Calendar
Even if this is not our favourite Pirelli calendar, it’s worth mentioning because we have two Dutch models featuring in it: Lara Stone and Saskia de Brauw. And it was shot on the beautful island of Corsica by Mario Sorrenti.
A show and party we regret to have missed is Mulberry‘s. They create these great themes every time, and this one would have suited us quite well. It was all about having summertime fun on the British Coast and a lot of sweetness.
London Fashion Week has officially started, so that’s reason to party. But Kate Moss has her own little celebration to kick-off LFW. It has already been 10 years that she represents Rimmel London as a spokesperson, and for the occasion she has launched her own lipstick line. She’s wearing one of the shades in the video-interview above. Like? Then get the London Look!
“She was that ethereal waif; delicate and mischievous, on a perfect midsummer eve,” . “It was so very her and it could not be more opposite to the royal wedding. It was a superb dress and pure Galliano – bias-cut, nostalgic and wonderful – a tribute to him. Moss returns to that waif we all fell in love with.” – Vogue fashion features director Harriet Quick about Kate Moss her wedding dress.
That’s the question. Our friend Jules has been to the Isle of Wight festival this weekend. And we are anxcious for her to get back with some juicy stories. For two reasons:
1. She slept in a tent with a Scottish guy
2. Did she run into Kate Moss (Digi K’s forever style-icon) who was having her bachelorette (or hen party, whatever you want to call it) there!
In our opinion, Kate Moss and Mario Testino are a match made in heaven. The photographer and his muse worked on an editorial for Vogue Brasil. Testino’s second homebase (born in Chile, but Brasil is the country he fell in love with age 14). It’s the magazine 36st birthday issue, and for that occasion (and probably the brazilian temperatures) Kate went bare. On the cover, and in the magazine. In a tasteful Testino kind of way.
