Unlike other people, I (Digi K) never really cared for Valentine. Maybe because my ex-boyfriend wasn’t a romantic at heart. And, in my opinion, it is also a commercially exploited day where the meaning of love is hard to find. But still I secretly hope for some secret admirer to send me a poem, written by himself. These one of a kind wild kudu (native antilope) leather boots from Schier Shoes, are handmade in Swakopmundm, Namibia. A true trend on the streets over there.
It reminds me when I (Digi K), used to ask my grandmother to make clothes with swatches of cloth she had left for my Barbie dolls. I think that’s when my sense for styling came about. Combining Barbie’s clothes from the shop with tailormade couture made by grandma. Did you actually know that the usage of miniature dolls to show couture was a frequent activity after the second world war? It inspired Louis Vuitton‘s shoe designer Fabrizo Viti, who is himself an enthusiastic collector of dolls…. Watch the video:
