Needless to say that we have a whole new generation of talented models coming from our little country; Patricia van de Vliet, Nimuë Smit, Daphne Groeneveld, Saskia de Brauw, Mirte Maas, just to name a few. And another star is rising. Her name is Milou van Groesen.

There’s something odd about the Lanvin campaign photo’s I can’t quite put my finger on. The theme is supposed to be ‘action’ . with model Jamie Bochert rushing through the corridor of a New York studio, but isn’t her head moving in the wrong direction? Now it looks like she’s moving in slowmotion…
It was well spread around the international blogs: Steven Meisel’s Twitpic editorial for the Italian Vogue. A very daring initiative, but right on the spot concerning the rising popularity of social media communities in the world of fashion.
In 2003 Dutch model Rianne ten Haken‘s star was rising. She made the covers of Numero and Vogue Italia, featured in the La Perla campaign… Then it became a bit quiet, and now she’s back!
