When you take a good look at your wardrobe, you’ll find a way to create whole new outfits just mixing some different styles. Because the weather was still autumnal, I layered plain cotton, lace and suede and threw grey hues and rusty shades together. This is the result.
On a misty sunday we shot some outfit-pics with stuff we still had in our closet. Just to get set in the winter mood….
The very talented Greek designer Mary Katrantzou is collaborating on a collection for Topshop. Her designs are being well-kept for the moment, but they are expected to be available starting February 2012 in all Topshops and online. We hope that the -14 pieces-collection will contain some of Mary’s signatures; trompe l’oeuil and symmetry.
More and more brands use Facebook to start up and communicate their contests. A good way to reach ‘ordinary people’ and bloggers around the world.
When we were in London, Digitalista E., our muze E and Digitilista K. were competitors in a Topshop contest where Facebook was used as a medium to publish the photos and let people vote for their favourite looks.

They are all christmassy, winter themes… We went green, red and white, and to end our shoppings in ‘winter’ style, today’s color is ‘white’ like the snowflakes.

People better be nice to you when wearing these shoes….Auchhh! These spikey heels were designed by Louise Goldin for Topshop. It’s like punk-in-extremis, but interesting, because we never had shoes with a spiked mohawk on the back…
The best way to pimp a simple black dress or to spice up a pencil skirt is by wearing a nice belt. We found a beautiful Snake Obi belt in the Kate Moss for Topshop Christmas collection. It has that little oriental flava to it! You can also wrap it around a kimono dress for that matter. The belt comes in black or red and costs £35,-.
We can call it 80′s, we can call it Disco. But the sequined-, colourful-, jumpsuits- and sharp-shoulder trend reminds me of Ziggy Stardust. Holland is way too basic when it comes to party-outfits, so let’s spice it up a little!
