Perez Hilton launched a new website: www.cocoperez.com. And guess what it’s all about…. fashion! Well, not exactly about fashion with a capital F but in the fun Perez way we’re all used to.Since a few days Queen Perez was twittering about a huge scoop from his side and yesterday he revealed the big news. He launched a brand new site (sure, why not? We would get bored as well with a website that successful as his…) on celebrity fashion. Perez already warned Anna Wintour, her days are over in fi-fo-fashion land. Hmm, the future will tell. But Perez might be right about one thing; his guess is that his website eventually will have a larger audience than Vogue.
No worries, Perez is not claiming to be the next André Leon Tally. He knows he doesn’t have a fashion background and thinks that’s just the great thing about his new baby. “It gives me an objective yet opinionated look into the world of fashion that my readers can relate to. I like to think, even though I dress like a clown, I know what looks good on women, the same way I know what sounds good musically. I’m not trying to be a tastemaker. I’m just trying to have fun with fashion the way I have fun with celebrities and the way I have fun with fashion in my own life.”
