Please don’t blame it on my being half French, I’m not such a chauvinist, but I do think that French brands add a little ‘je ne sais quoi’ of coolness to the universe of fashion. Zadig & Voltaire happens to be one of these brands.
We do not only love the clothes and accessories (a bit expensive though) but also their image. For the Summer ’10 campaign Zadig & Voltaire has chosen British ‘prince of coolness’ Mark Ronson and his French girlfriend Joséphine de la Baume to embody the brand’s image.
Mark and his love Joséphine have been photographed by Olivier Zahm in the romantic St Germain des Près. We love the black & white pictures and the Parisian decor… Could it be because it’s almost Valentine?
Except Mark and Joséphine you might also like the new collection. The lookbook (featuring Dutch model Bette Franke) shows some nice outfits: a long t-shirt with bikergirl print, smooth leather jackets, a lace body, a cute white cotton dress, a cardigan with strass embellishment, a silver sequined blazer, leather pants and so on…
I can say I’ve already found my bikini for this summer: black with a studded eagle on the bum. Très digitalistic!
Zadig & Voltaire has an e-shop where you can find all the lovely clothes.
