Marni designs Spring collection for H&M

The Versace for H&M-collection just being launched, H&M already announces the next designer-collaboration with Italian brand Marni.

Renowned for its original mix of prints. The collection -both for men and women- captures the essence and inventive spirit of the brand; proposing full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knit in vivid, bold all-over prints, either Africa-inspired or simple colour blocking for women, and a more subtle take on the prints for the menswear collection (as lining or contrast), which consists of masculine classics.

As Consuelo Castiglioni, Founder and Creative Director for Marni claims: “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements”.

The Marni for H&M collection will be available in 260 stores worldwide and online from March 8, 2012.
