Jimmy Choo is not only known for the fab shoes and bags, the label recently released its second fragrance: Flash.
Though it’s not that easy to explain the new scent ‘in a flash’…
Think of a woman who is preparing to go party, and the anticipation and excitement that goes along with that, close your eyes and visualize a fragrance that packages that emotion in a sparkling, crystal faceted bottle…
According to Jimmy Choo’s Creative Directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway it all comes down to this: “FLASH is about the cool rush of excitement and the sense of power a woman feels when dressed in a pair of sexy shoes. Its character, which is both heady and effervescent, captures this perfectly.”
The second fragrance by Jimmy Choo is floral, and built up as following:
Top -pink pepper, strawberry
Heart- tuberose, jasmin, white lilies
Base- heliothrope, white woods
Christine Nagel -the fragrance’s creator- says: “I created FLASH for the self-confident, urban Jimmy Choo woman: sexy, rebellious and sophisticated. I imagined the sound of her heels, clicking on the streets of New York, London and Paris.”
The result is a tad exotic, sweet and bubbly fragrance, which can surely be associated with the kind of mysterious and hedonistic girls as captured in the campaign.
A sexy Natasha Poly was photographed by Steven Meisel and embodies the self-assured, beautiful and international Jimmy Choo woman. “It’s about living the moment, pushing the boundaries whilst retaining a dangerous allure,” Choi concludes.
