Review: Clinique Superdefense CC Cream

Clinique_CC_frontIt has just been launched last month, Clinique’s CC cream. As a fan of the BB cream I had to test what comes next.

And I have to say, Clinique’s CC works very well for me. This product is a better match with my mixed skin than the BB creams I was using. The formula is light and applies nicely.
In full it is  named ‘Colour Correcting Skin Protector’, and that is what it does essentially. It focusses more on the colour rather than the blemishes. My skin looks refreshed, even and bright -due to a smart colour correcting technology. Also on the days I feel I look tired and weary, this CC cream is a little miracle worker.

For those who -like me- don’t like to wear a lot of makeup, a tinted skincare product is a perfect solution. It looks more natural than foundation, and the active ingredients like hyaluronic acid to plump, trehalose and sorbitol to protect and moisturize, and an SPF 30 to protect your skin, plus the anti-oxidizing effects of Vitamine E are the indispensable cherries on the cake. Matify with a bit of powder and you’re good to go for the day. The proof: after a day of partying at a festival in the sun, there was not much of a touch up needed.

The Clinique Superdefense CC cream comes in 4 colours: LIght, Light Medium (the one I’ve used), Medium (only available online) and Medium Deep. Find it at Clinique retailers for €29,30 (40 ml).
