We throw in a little Throwback Thursday in our Thursday Treat today. Dream away and imagine yourself in the Paris of the 1930’s, having a romantic picknick with your ‘amoureux’…
What to serve with your fresh, crispy baguette and savoury fromages instead of a glass of red wine? We propose St Germain, a delicious elderflower liquor.
St Germain is an artisanal French elderflower liquor made from 100% handpicked wild elderflowers, which only grow for a few weeks in Spring in the Savoie, and that’s why each bottle is individually numbered. Once gathered, the flowers are transported to the village’s distillery by ‘bicyclette’!
Because everything French exudes style (oui, oui), and the drink takes his name from one of Paris’ chiquest districts on the Rive Gauche, we hereby give you the recipes to brew some classy cocktails. SantĂ©!
